DREAMS KC will employ the Project Based Inquiry strategy to reengage students in the educational experience. Project Based Inquiry will guide students through an in-depth inquiry driven by a specific open ended question or identified problem. Students will ascertain what they need to know in order to solve the problem or answer the question. Students will take ownership of their learning through their choice of project or solution. They will receive effective and consistent feedback from peers & teachers allowing them to pivot when necessary. Ultimately, students will connect with the larger community in presenting a product or an idea that developed from their own learning.
Working this way will allow students to develop 21st Century Skills - problem solving, critical thinking, team building and creativity!
